History

The Purple Line system is under construction as of 2022 and is scheduled to open in 2026.[1]

Station layout

The station consists of two side platforms just south of River Road and west of Haig Drive.[2]

P Platform level	Side platform, doors will open on the right
	Westbound	← Purple Line toward Bethesda (College Park Metro–UMD)
	Eastbound	→ Purple Line toward New Carrollton (Riverdale Park–Kenilworth) →
	Side platform, doors will open on the right
