The station opened on October 7, 2022.[1] Metro held a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony for the station on September 10, 2022.[2]
The station incorporates artwork by the artist Kenturah Davis.[3]
During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the station will serve spectators traveling to and from venues located in Inglewood including opening and closing ceremonies and soccer games at SoFi Stadium, Archery at Rivers Lake, and Gymnastics at Kia Forum.[4]

Hours and frequency
K Line service hours are approximately from 4:30 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. daily. Trains operate every ten minutes during peak hours Monday through Friday, and every 12 minutes during the daytime on weekdays and all day on the weekends. Night service is every 20 minutes.[5]

The Inglewood Transit Connector is a 1.6-mile (2.6 km) automated guideway transit line planned to be built by the City of Inglewood. A new elevated station will be constructed nearby and will act as the northern terminus of the line, which will serve a station at the Forum and a station at Hollywood Park (connecting to SoFi Stadium, the Hollywood Park Casino and Intuit Dome).[8]
