History

Opened on December 19, 2007, in conjunction with the Santa Apolónia station, and it is located on Praça do Comércio. It takes its name (literally 'Palace Square') from the adjacent Terreiro do Paço square.

The architectural design of station is by Artur Rosa. This station won both the Valmor and Municipal Architecture prizes in 2008[1]

Terreiro do Paço ist ein U-Bahnhof der Linha Azul (blaue Linie) der Metro Lissabon, dem U-Bahn-Netz der portugiesischen Hauptstadt. Der Bahnhof befindet sich unterhalb der Avenida Infante D. Henrique der Stadtgemeinde Santa Maria Maior in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Praça do Comércio, der im Volksmund jedoch Terreiro do Paço („Schlossplatz“) genannt wird. Die Nachbarstationen des Bahnhofes sind Santa Apolónia und Baixa-Chiado. Der Bahnhof ging am 19. Dezember 2007 in Betrieb.[1] Oberhalb des U-Bahnhofes befindet sich das wichtige Fährterminal gleichen Namens, das offiziell jedoch die Bezeichnung Estação Ferroviária do Sul e Sueste („Süd- und Südostbahnhof“) trägt.

«Терре́йру-ду-Па́су» (порт. Terreiro do Paço — Дворцовая площадь) — станция Лиссабонского метрополитена. Находится в центральной части города. Расположена на Синей линии (Линии Чайки) между станциями «Байша-Шиаду» и «Санта-Аполония». Открыта 19 декабря 2007 года. Своим названием станция обязана Торговой площади (порт. Praça do Comércio), которая также известна как Дворцовая, так как расположена на месте дворца Рибейра, разрушенного во время землетрясения 1755 года.
