Alameda is a station on the Green and Red Lines of the Lisbon Metro. The station is located on Avenida Almirante Reis at Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques, east of the Instituto Superior Técnico.[1]

History

This section of the Green Line opened in June 1972 together with Arroios, Areeiro, Roma and Alvalade stations. The original architectural design of the station was by Dinis Gomes with installation art by the plastic artist Maria Keil. Full refurbishment of the station was completed in March 1998, which involved extending the piers of the existing station for the construction of the Red Line. The architect for this project was Manuel Tainha and the artist was Luís Noronha da Costa.

The Red Line station opened in May 1998 in conjunction with Olaias, Bela Vista, Chelas and Oriente stations, with a view to extending the network to the area of Expo '98. The architectural design for this is also by Manuel Tainha and the art work by plastic artists Costa Pinheiro and Juhana Blomstedt, and sculptor Alberto Carneiro.

Fire and a large explosion on the morning of October 19, 1997, during the refurbishment of the station, killed two workers.[1]

Alameda ist ein U-Bahnhof der Linha Verde (grüne Linie) und der Linha Vermelha (rote Linie) der Metro Lissabon, des U-Bahn-Netzes der portugiesischen Hauptstadt. Der Bahnhof befindet sich unter der Kreuzung der Avenida Almirante Reis/Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques und damit auf der Grenzen zwischen den Stadtgemeinden São Jorge de Arroios, Alto do Pina und São Jorge de Deus. Die Nachbarstationen des Bahnhofes sind Arroios, Areeiro, Saldanha und Olaias. Der Bahnsteig der Linha Verde ging am 18. Juni 1972 in Betrieb, der der Linha Vermelha am 19. Mai 1998.[1]

«Аламе́да» (порт. Alameda) — станция Лиссабонского метрополитена. Является пересадочной станциeй между Зелёной линией (Линией Каравеллы) и Красной линией (Линией Востока). На Зелёной линии находится между станциями «Ареэйру» и «Арроюш». На Красной линии находится между станциями «Салданья» и «Олаяш». Платформы Зелёной линии были открыты 28 июня 1972 года, а Красной линии — 19 мая 1998 года. Название станции в переводе с португальского означает «проспект», что связано с расположением на проспекте Афонсу Энрикиша, первого короля Португалии. Также возле станции расположен Высший Технический институт (порт. Instituto Superior Técnico).
