The original structure was designed by the architect Denis Gomes with art installations by the painter Maria Keil.[1]

Roma ist ein U-Bahnhof der Linha Verde der Metro Lissabon, des U-Bahn-Netzes der portugiesischen Hauptstadt. Der Bahnhof befindet sich südlich der Straßenkreuzung Avenida de Roma/Avenida dos Estados Unidos da América in der Lissabonner Stadtgemeinde Alvalade. Die Nachbarbahnhöfe sind Alvalade und Areeiro. Der Bahnhof ging am 18. Juni 1972 in Betrieb.[1] Es besteht offiziell, trotz eines längeren Fußweges von 220 Metern, eine Umsteigemöglichkeit zum Regional- und Vorortbahnhof Roma-Areeiro.- [en] Roma (Lisbon Metro)
