Karrakatta railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Fremantle line, 7.4 kilometres (4.6 mi) from Perth station serving the suburb of Karrakatta.

Karrakatta station opened in 1886.[1] The station closed on 1 September 1979 along with the rest of the Fremantle line, re-opening on 29 July 1983 when services were restored.[2]The station gained extra services from Monday October 10 2022 with the opening of the Airport Line. [3][4]
Karrakatta station is served by Transperth Fremantle line services from Fremantle to Perth that continue through to Midland via the Midland line,[5][6]and Transperth Airport Line services from Claremont to High Wycombe.
During the peak, the Fremantle and Airport lines operate every 12 minutes, with a combined frequency of every six minutes. Off peak, the lines operate every 15 minutes with a combined frequency of 7.5 minutes. At night, both lines operate half hourly for a combined frequency of every 15 minutes.
Karrakatta station saw 66,562 passengers in the 2013–14 financial year,[7]making it the least used station on the Fremantle line.
