Ayodhya Junction railway station is a railway station in the city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh in India. It is one of two railway junctions in the twin city; the other one is Faizabad Junction. The station is being built in two phases, with a cost of 131.97 crore and Rs 307 crore. The station is owned by Indian Railways.

The station is near to Faizabad Junction railway station on Faizabad–Akbarpur railway station line. Another line crosses Saryu River and goes further north to Mankapur Junction.
Since 2019, the station is under expansion by adding double railway lines and electrification of the tracks. The new design will retain the temple-like look and adds new amenities besides increasing capacity to handle more passengers expected due to the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.The construction is in two phases, with a cost of 131.97 crore for the first phase and Rs 307 crore for the second phase.[1] The first phase will include the erection of the new station building with amenities like more washrooms, lounges, dormitories, ticketing. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by June 2021. The second phase will have the development of the platforms.[2][3]
