The 22851 / 52 Santragachi–Mangalore Central Vivek Express has two AC 2-tier, four AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, five general unreserved & two SLR (seating with luggage rake) coaches. It does not carry a pantry car.[2]

Traction


As the entire route is electrified, a Santragachi Junction-based WAP-4 electric locomotive pulls the train up to Visakhapatnam, then a Erode or Arrakonam-based WAP-4 electric locomotive takes reverse direction and pulls the train up to Mangalore Central.[5]
