Storia
La stazione fu aperta il 24 giugno 1933.[3]
Strutture e impianti
La stazione ha una banchina ad isola e due binari ed è posta al di sotto della zona settentrionale del parco Cadman Plaza.[4] A causa della sua notevole profondità, la stazione dispone di due mezzanini collegati tra di loro da una serie di scale mobili, quello superiore ospita i tornelli e le tre uscite per il piano stradale, una su Cadman Plaza West e due su Adams Street, quello inferiore ospita invece le scale per la banchina.[5]

The High Street station, also signed as High Street–Brooklyn Bridge, and also referred to as Brooklyn Bridge Plaza and Cranberry Street,[4][5][6] is a station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is located at Cadman Plaza East near Red Cross Place and the Brooklyn Bridge approach in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. Its name comes from older street names; its original location was at the intersection of High Street and Washington Street.
