Storia
La stazione fu aperta il 17 luglio 1918.[3] Venne ristrutturata nel 2005.
Strutture e impianti
Il piano binari della stazione si sviluppa su due livelli, entrambi con una banchina a isola e due binari, il livello inferiore ospita i binari in direzione sud e quello superiore i binari in direzione nord.[4] È posta al di sotto di Lexington Avenue e il mezzanino ha quattro scale d'ingresso posizionate all'incrocio con 125th Street. Un ascensore nell'angolo nord-est dello stesso incrocio rende la stazione accessibile alle persone con disabilità motoria [5]

The 125th Street station is an express station with four tracks and two island platforms. It is the northernmost Manhattan station on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street (also known as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) in East Harlem, it is served by the 4 and 6 trains at all times, the 5 train at all times except late nights, and the <6> train during weekdays in peak direction.
