Yunohora-Onsenguchi Station was opened on July 15, 1926, as Itadoriguchi Station (板取口駅). On December 20, 1956, the station was renamed Mino-Tachibana Station (美濃立花駅). Operations were transferred from the Japan National Railway (JNR) to the Nagaragawa Railway on December 11, 1986. The station was renamed to its present name on that date[1]
