Pending LRT station (pronounced "pern ding") is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Bukit Panjang LRT line in Bukit Panjang, Singapore, opposite the Bukit Panjang Community Club.

Etymology

The station is located along Pending Road. Pending refers to a large "waist buckle" in Malay.[1]

Notable incidents

At about 10pm on 26 August 2018, angered by his wife's refusal to return to their matrimonial home, a man punched her repeatedly in the face and continued his assault on her when she fell to the ground and fainted. As a result of the attack, the victim suffered various injuries including a fracture of her jawbone, bruising over her arm and finger and bleeding on her skull.[2]
