Nishibara Station is served by the Mugi Line and is located 19.8 km from the beginning of the line at Tokushima.[3] Only local trains stop at the station.[4]
The station consists of a side platform serving a single track. There is no station building, only a shelter on the platform and a separate toilet building. A ramp leads up to the platform from the access road. A designated parking area for bicycles is provided, underneath a nearby roadbridge.[2][3][5]
