Aihara Station is served by the Yokohama Line from Hachiōji to Higashi-Kanagawa, and is located 6.9 km from the northern terminus of the line at Hachiōji.[1]

History


The station opened on 23 September 1908.[2] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[2]

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 10,407 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[3]
