Der Mehrzweckbahnhof Abando Indalecio Prieto ist der Hauptbahnhof der baskischen Stadt Bilbao. Dieser ist im Stadtteil Abando am Plaza Circular gelegen. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Kopfbahnhof mit integriertem Einkaufszentrum und einem Parkhaus, dessen Bahnsteige sich im Obergeschoss des Gebäudes befinden. Der Bahnhof ist an mehrere Stadtbus-Linien sowie an beide Linien der Metro Bilbao und die Straßenbahn Bilbao angebunden. Der Bahnhof dient als Endstation für sämtliche von der Staatsbahn RENFE betriebenen Nah- und Fernverkehrslinien mit dem Ziel Bilbao, da die Stadt ausschließlich über eine Stichstrecke an das übrige Breitspur-Eisenbahn-Netz angebunden ist, die erst im 80 km entfernten Miranda de Ebro mit dem übrigen Eisenbahn-Netz verknüpft ist. Sämtliche Vorortstrecken enden im Umland. Sobald das baskische Hochgeschwindigkeits-Dreieck fertiggestellt ist, werden jedoch auch Züge in Bilbao halten, die von anderen spanischen Städten nach San Sebastián oder nach Frankreich unterwegs sind.

The Abando Indalecio Prieto railway station (Basque: Abandoko Indalecio Prieto geltokia, Spanish: Estación de Abando Indalecio Prieto), usually known simply as Bilbao-Abando and previously known as Estación del Norte (North Station) is a terminal railway station in Bilbao, Basque Country (Spain). The name comes from Abando, the district in which the station is located, and Indalecio Prieto, who was Minister of Public Works during the Second Spanish Republic. The station serves as the terminus station for several long and medium distance services operated by Renfe as well as commuter rail services within the Bilbao metropolitan area operated by Cercanías. The station has direct access to Metro Bilbao and to the tram, as well as many local and regional bus lines. The railway station Bilbao-Concordia, operated by Renfe Feve is located in close proximity. After the construction of the high-speed line Basque Y is finished, Bilbao-Abando will serve as the western terminus, which will involve the creation of a completely new station replacing the current one.[3][4]

Située dans le quartier d'Abando, elle donne sur la place circulaire dans le centre de la ville de Bilbao, capitale de la Biscaye dans la Communauté autonome du Pays basque.
