Services
As of the December 2021 timetable change,[update] the following services stop at St. Margrethen:[2]
- EuroCity: six trains per day between Zürich Hauptbahnhof and München Hauptbahnhof.
- InterRegio: hourly service between Zürich Hauptbahnhof and Chur.
- St. Gallen S-Bahn:
- S2: hourly service between Nesslau-Neu St. Johann and Altstätten SG.
- S4: hourly service toward St. Gallen and Sargans (circular operation).
- S5: hourly service to Weinfelden.
- S7: on weekends, service every two hours between Romanshorn and Lindau-Reutin.
- Vorarlberg S-Bahn S3: on weekdays, half-hourly service to Bregenz; service is hourly on weekends.
