In 2004, Metro's Arts in Transit program commissioned the work A Line Meant (Circular) Alignment (Reasoning) by Bob Hansman and Ben Hoffmann for installation at this station. The work is an indoor/outdoor sculpture at the North Hanley parking garage. This reflective piece is made up of 20 four-inch square, stainless steel tubes of various lengths that interact with the architecture of both the interior parking garage stairwell and exterior landscaping.[3]

On October 12, 2022, Citizens for Modern Transit, AARP in St. Louis, and Metro Transit (in partnership with St. Louis REALTORS, Employment Connection and Bywater Development Group) unveiled the “Transit Stop Transformation” project at the North Hanley Transit Center. The team overseeing this project converted the concrete area between the bus bays and MetroLink entrance into an interactive and engaging space that boasts a vibrant-colored “Transit: We All Ride Together” theme. The revitalized space features shade structures, seating, musical elements, ground murals and window designs. This is the fourth "Transit Stop Transformation" completed so far.[4]
