Histoire

La station, conçue par Charles Holden est mise en service le 13 septembre 1926. C'est la première station de la Morden extension de la Northern Line, à l'époque City & South London Railway (C&SLR)[3].

Clapham South ist eine unterirdische Station der London Underground im Stadtbezirk London Borough of Lambeth. Sie befindet sich an der Grenze der Travelcard-Tarifzonen 2 und 3. Beim Stationsgebäude am südlichen Ende des Parks Clapham Common kreuzen sich die Hauptstraßen Balham Hill und Nightingale Lane.
